Rachel Young
I am a counsellor, psychotherapist, supervisor and counselling tutor with many years’ experience. I am a director of the Banbury Therapy Group which I founded with my husband in 2009.
I trained with Oxford and Cherwell College where I graduated with a Diploma in Integrative Counselling in 2006. I then went on to further train in Group and Individual Gestalt Psychotherapy at the Gestalt Centre in London. Since then I have worked with a wide variety of clients in the community and in private practice. My training and experience give me the capacity to work at depth with a broad range of issues, life situations and mental health needs. I have worked with people struggling with depression and anxiety, relationship issues, low self-esteem, personality disorders and overwhelming fears. I am particularly knowledgeable about addictive and compulsive behaviours, including alcoholism, drug dependency, eating disorders, gambling, sex, pornography and internet addiction.
